Â鶹´«Ã½AV’s world-leading, Ofqual approved ESOL International qualifications are designed to support learners emigrating to or working in an English-speaking country, or those who wish to learn English as a new language.

We work with ESOL International centres and partners across the UK and overseas, with providers in Europe, Africa, Asia, India and beyond. The Â鶹´«Ã½AV brand is recognised and highly respected all over the world as an authentic mark of quality.

We offer all six levels from the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR): A1, A2, B1, B2, C1, C2, and comprehensive tests of English in speaking, listening reading and writing.

Who is ESOL International designed for?

• Non-native speakers of English worldwide
• People needing English for their everyday or working life
• Learners who wish to progress to Further and Higher Education that require internationally recognised certification of their level in English

At the highest level (CEFR C2), it is suitable for learners who are preparing for entry to higher education or professional employment in the UK or elsewhere. The ESOL International qualification at C2 level is equivalent to a score of 8-9 for IELTS and UCAS Points are attached to C2 level and are broken down into:

• Pass - 12 points
• Merit - 24 points
• Distinction - 36 points
